The PADI Instructor Crossover Course is a intensive 8-day crossover program designed for already-certified instructors who want to transition into the PADI system efficiently and professionally. Rather than repeating training you have already mastered, the PADI Instructor Crossover Course focuses on aligning your existing instructional skills with PADI teaching philosophy, standards, structure, and educational approach.

FAST TRACK IDC

The PADI Fast Track IDC is an intensive 8-day crossover program designed for already-certified instructors who want to transition into the PADI system efficiently and professionally. This course focuses on aligning your existing skills with PADI teaching standards, philosophy and structure without unnecessary repetition.

It is ideal for instructors who already possess strong dive theory knowledge, confident water skills, teaching experience and are looking for a direct, focussed route into PADI.

Throughout the course, you’ll refine your ability to deliver PADI programs across classroom, confined water and open water environments. Emphasis is placed on demonstration quality, student control, risk management and adapting your instructional style to meet PADI standards.

This ensures you are not only prepared to pass the Instructor Examination, but also to operate confidently as a PADI professional anywhere in the world.

  • Be an active instructor with a different association
  • Have been a certified instructor for at least 1 year
  • Have at least 60 logged dives to begin training & 100 dives before your Instructors Examination
  • Have EFR Primary & Secondary Care (CPR & First Aid) Certification within the past 24 months*
  • Have a medical clearance statement signed by a physician within the past 12 months

What is the PADI MSDT rating?

The PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) rating is a professional-level achievement awarded to PADI Instructors who have demonstrated both teaching experience and the ability to conduct multiple PADI Specialty Instructor courses.

It is not a single standalone course, but rather a development pathway that builds on your Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) certification. The MSDT rating is designed to make you a more rounded instructor by increasing your teaching capabilities, broadening your skill set, and preparing you to work with a wider range of students and diver interests.

Becoming an MSDT is often one of the first major steps in building a successful and long-term career in the dive industry.
