What is the PADI Open Water Course?

If needed, we offer optional accommodation at our on-site guesthouse for the duration of your course, making your training experience more convenient, comfortable, and stress-free so you can focus fully on your diving. A peaceful retreat where you can relax, making it the perfect place to be after the high-energy morning dives.
Course Overview:
Apon purchase- eLearning Package:
You will receive a flexible online theory package, where you can learn crucial knowledge at your own pace.
Day 1 – Welcome to Diving:
Meet the team, get introduced to your gear, and jump into your first pool session. This is where everything starts to click—breathing underwater, learning the basics, and getting comfortable with the equipment.
Day 2 – Skill Builder:
More pool time to sharpen your skills and boost confidence. By the end of the day, you’ll feel ready and excited to take everything you learned into the ocean.
Day 3 – First Ocean Dives (up to 12 m):
Your first real dives in the sea! You’ll complete two training dives, practice a few skills, and start exploring the underwater world of the South African coast. Expect big smiles after this day.
Day 4 – Final Dives & Certification (up to 18 m):
Two more ocean dives, deeper and even more fun. Once you finish, you’re officially a certified PADI Open Water Diver—ready to dive anywhere in the world.
Requirements:
No prior experience with scuba diving is required. You must be in good physical health and be able to float for 10 minutes and swim 200 m unaided and without stopping.
